Dr. Nicky Magnuson
Staff Chaplain
My name is Dr. Nicky Magnuson, and it is my privilege to serve as Staff Chaplain at San Clemente Christian School. This school has been more of a family than a school to me. The heart, goals and impact SCCS has had in the community it immeasurable! The opportunity to serve here and be a part of such a strong community of Christ followers is one that I cherish daily.
I have a Doctorate degree in Education and Organizational Leadership from Pepperdine University and have completed my undergraduate work in Psychology and Social Behavior from the University of California Irvine. I have an extensive background in public education serving as an administrator, teacher, as well as on many leadership committees. As Head of Schools, my foremost priority is to lead the school in the direction of its vision and mission. Our teachers and staff are one of a kind and I consider it to be an incredible gift to work along side a team of such amazing educators! I believe that staying connected and having open communication with the families of SCCS and our community, is vital to our growth and integrity. I have been richly blessed with the opportunity to lead this school and I look forward to a great year!
